Company Overview:
Biocon Limited, a leading global biopharmaceutical company, is currently hiring for the position of QMS Executive in their Small Molecule Production department at the VIZ SEZ facility. This role is ideal for candidates with an MSc qualification and experience ranging from freshers to 4 years.
Role Summary:
As a QMS Executive, you will be responsible for process operations in the Inoculum Preparation Lab. The role involves ensuring adherence to Biocon’s operational policies, particularly related to shift work, and contributing to Quality Management Systems (QMS) compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GXP guidelines to ensure operational compliance.
- Ensure audit readiness by taking ownership of processes and documentation.
- Develop knowledge of Pas-X execution and handling Manufacturing Batch Records (MBR) closure.
- Oversee process operations and QMS-related activities, including:
- Calibration/verification of equipment (pH meters, conductivity meters, weighing balances).
- Operation of lab equipment (incubator shakers, biosafety cabinets, autoclaves, centrifuges).
- Media preparation, sterilization, vial inoculation, and sub-culturing in aseptic environments.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams to ensure smooth process execution.
- Maintain updated quality records, such as logbooks, calibration, and cleaning records.
- Manage QMS documentation, report non-conformities, and follow the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
- Comply with Zero Tolerance and Code of Conduct policies.
- Safely handle hazardous and non-hazardous solid and liquid waste materials.
Educational Qualifications:
- Required: MSc in a relevant field.
- Experience: 0-4 years of experience in a related field.
